DELIMITACION DE TERMINOS ENTRE LAS VILLAS DE JUMLLA Y HELLIN EN LA BAJA EDAD MEDIA Alfonso Antolí Fernández RESUMEN En las primeras décadas del siglo XVI se da un grave conflicto entre las villas vecinas de Jumilla y Hellín por cuestión de términos. El problema se venía arrastrando desde finales del siglo XV, cuando vecinos de Hellín empiezan a ocupar parajes jumillanos sin que el concejo de Jumilla pueda evitarlo. Por fin en 1531, el Consejo Real, envía un juez especial que por su sentencia fija el amojonamiento definitivo de los términos municipales de Jumilla y Hellín, que ha llegado hasta nuestros días.
